Founder, Director and COO, Whalen & Gamester, Real Estate Brokers and Property Managers, Portsmouth, NH, 1981-1991. Positioned the growth of the company during the decade of the 1980’s into the premiere residential and commercial/industrial brokerage and property management firm in the southeastern New Hampshire seacoast area.
Founder and President of Seaboard-Whalen Real Estate Management, Inc., Portsmouth, NH, 1992-2006. Provided property management, asset management, construction management and brokerage services to the office, industrial and retail markets with over 2.5 million square feet under direct, third party management extending from the NH seacoast to Manchester to Boston.
Mr. Whalen has also served as a general partner in numerous real estate development entities responsible for several pioneering commercial and residential projects in the NH seacoast over the past three decades.
